Denis Philippov

Position in Yachting Center SEACHARTER - Chief Instructor Denis Filippov was born on 07.31.1977 in Moscow, he graduated from high school fiz.mat "second school", studied physics and later in the geographical, Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University. For a long time he worked in the IT-environment (communication system), but then created a help desk for motorcyclists motoSPAS, where he came to the rescue service of the Russian Red Cross. In 2009, he decided to cardinal change of life and went to live and work in the sea. The sail came more than thirty years ago, and went to a lot of different sailing boats on inland waterways of Russia. Since the end of 2009, together with his wife Galina has lived and traveled on his catamaran "BARBOS". He brings over 37,000 nautical miles in different weather conditions. As an owner-cruise sailing catamaran Fountaine Pajot 35, Denis, to date, is a leading Russian-speaking specialist operating catamarans. On the basis of his own experience he has developed a training course for the management of catamarans, who teaches at our school. Denis is also the author of the popular video tutorials for novice captains to be used as part of a training course in our shkole.V our school teaches Denis to the level IYT Yachtmaster Offshore.
